The precise positioning of the mechanical anchor within safety relays is crucial to their function. Since various parameters depend directly on this setting, maximum accuracy is required.
Solution
Development of a compact, fully automatic stand-alone system for anchor adjustment. The system combines a rotary indexing table, robotics, pick & place handling, and a high-resolution vision system into an integrated solution. Adjustment is performed in real time through visual detection and dynamic correction. Finally, each relay is tested electrically. Only when all measured values match completely is the component removed from the process; otherwise, it is automatically corrected again.
